What are the Motability benefits with MG?

With the MG Motability Scheme, you’ll receive a brand-new MG every three years. A few months before your lease ends, we’ll get in touch to help you choose your next car—ensuring a smooth transition into your next three-year agreement, as long as you remain eligible.

Our worry-free Motability package gives you peace of mind, offering cover similar to fully comprehensive insurance. Even if you don’t drive, you can still lease a MG by nominating up to two drivers—such as friends, family, or carers—to drive on your behalf.

And if you ever decide to leave the scheme, you can request a letter confirming your no-claims history to support your switch to a personal insurance policy.

Am I eligible?

You may be eligible to lease a new MG through the Motability Scheme if you or your child receives one of the following allowances and has at least 12 months remaining on the award:

• Higher Rate Mobility Component of the Disability Living Allowance (DLA)
• Enhanced Rate of the Mobility Component of Personal Independence Payment (PIP)
• War Pensioners’ Mobility Supplement (WPMS)
• Armed Forces Independence Payment (AFIP)

There are no credit checks, no assessments, and no waiting lists.

With our Contract Hire package, you don’t need to drive. Parents, carers, or guardians can apply on behalf of a child (aged three or over), and you can nominate up to two drivers for the vehicle.
